Link Manager (Like Raven Tools)

As there's a task list on it's way.... the final thing to complete the tool set in my mind would be something to manage potential and existing links. Raven Tools has a good link manager what with all the tabs under its link menu. This would make SEOmoz the all-in-one tool suite for me, and hopefully for others too so this gets votes :D

Hey guys,

Just checking in here - Moz Analytics has a link opportunities section. This will be expanding in scope.

We may end up also doing some kind of simple link management, but for now I think BuzzStream is a solid choice!

Thanks

Jon

Sorry. I still don't have a date for this yet. No earlier than this summer given current projects.

@Joost - love the idea of a link management love child. :)  Not sure it's in the cards, but maybe I'll check in with Paul over at Buzzstream to see what they're up to.

+1 Agree with Adam Feldstein that Buzzstream is worth looking into. Not so much for it's intuitive UI (that could use some work), but definitely for it's excellent features and depth. I recommend reading this post by Jon Cooper: http://pointblankseo.com/buzzstream-outreach

Any way we could convince you guys at SEOmoz to start dating Buzzstream and create a linkmanagement 'love child'? :-)

Any updates on adding a link management tool? Any dates set yet?

I believe that BuzzStream and Ontolo are also worth checking out. Both offer link management functionality (as well as many other link building features).

We are currently looking for a good Link Manager.  Link-Assistant and Raven Tools are the top contenders currently.

Just wanted to check in on this topic. This feature is still a ways off on our roadmap, but still something we plan to provide down the line. If you have any other great examples of this functionality or specific needs you need us to address, feel free to let us know in this thread. It will help a lot as we get into planning later this year.

Thanks!

+1 this.. I would like to know where my new links are coming from and if I am increasing or decreasing in the amount of links my sites are getting. Also would be helpful to see if I am keeping pace with my competitors in this area.

+1 from my side for a seomoz link manager, would be a great addition to your tool!

I second this - it would be nice if SEOMoz could periodically check submitted links / directories and keep track of when new links appear on those sites, or when a listing has been updated, and when it has been discovered by Open Explorer.

I appreciate your thoughts here and agree that at the moment SEOmoz lacks the workflow and link-management capabilities to help simplify link building. This is something that is on our mid-long-term roadmap, but not planned for the first half of this year. I'll keep you posted as we flesh out these plans further.

Right now I also have a raven tools account just for this feature and obviously I'm starting to wonder whether the extra fee for seomoz fee is worth it when Raven Tools also does the rest. I would love to see a link manager!
