Ability to Turn off Errors & Warnings in Crawl Diagnostics

Since there are situations where a user may wish to ignore specific items in the Crawl Diagnostics report, it would be really helpful to be able to select individual URLs in the list and turn them off. Don't want to remove the information from the campaign, just be able to switch off the items that can be ignored.

A good example is where URLs are identified by Roger as duplicates and a user chooses to tell googlebot to ignore parameters in GWMT. Roger will still see them as duplicates, but the user knows that the issue has been dealt with for those pages. If they can be be made to disappear from the diagnostic report, then users will be better able to track progress without needing to keep external lists :)

Hi MarketingDude

I hear you on this - unfortunately we have just not gotten around to it yet.  I will keep you all updated when this happens.

This suggestions is still highly relevant today after more than 2 years of Sha posting this. I'm a bit surprised that this has not been implemented yet, given the importance of the improvement. Like Sha says, we do not even need Roger to not see the errors: only, we want to be able to mark the error in the system as "already dealt with" or "it's okay". The diagnostic report is useful, but its usefulness would improve massively if we were to be able to label the issues and see only the ones that they know are problematic.

Thanks for the suggestion, Sha!  This is a feature that is already on our backlog, but I don't have an ETA for it yet. Suffice it to say, this is one of many improvements I really, really want to make, so it will happen. I'll try and keep this thread updated when we solidify our plans.
