I'd love to see G+, LinkedIn and Youtube integration into the new social section. :)
Just adding my voice - very disappointing LinkedIn integration isn't planned.
Any updates on expanding social media integration to Moz reporting/monitoring? We have several B2B clients. LinkedIn is a very important platform, as is Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube.
Hi, just want to say I totally agree with mgisys - when it comes to business, how can Google+ be considered more important than LinkedIn for integration? LinkedIn is a pivotal platform for so many businesses these days. I'd like to put my voice in for a reconsideration by your team! Cheers, Marcus
How is LinkedIn NOT planned? When it comes to B2B sites LinkedIn is a MUST.
Hello. To be completely unambiguous - adding more social networks is not currently planned. It is however, in the big bucket of 'good ideas we should probably build at some point'.
Sorry if this is frustrating, but I want to be honest.
From reading this post it is not really clear if LinkedIn integration is part of your roadmap or not. LinkedIn is the most important network for many B2B companies so it would be nice to know if we can expect near term support for this.
What is the latest on this?
Thank you for adding Google+. However we still lack Youtube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Pinterest is also a very valuable tool to see market interest and businesses could highly benefit from being able to track those user engagements. Thanks for the great work! Keep it up!
Hey guys - no updates as of yet. Will keep you all posted!
Any further update on the integration of LinkedIn tracking in Moz social? It's a really important engagement platform for almost all good businesses these days, and a channel for a good amount of commercial interaction. I look forward to hearing it's happening!
Most of my company's social engagement comes through LinkedIn. Unfortunately, social interaction reporting without LinkedIn is useless to me. Is there any update on when it might be available?
Hello! Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. We have G+ right now, and while we will be updating networks at some point in the future, but right now we have not decided on specific networks to target.
We will keep you updated with progress!
Hey Phillip - We are still working on our high-level roadmap for social. We definitely agree that Linkedin an Youtube are important parts of any social strategy. Unfortunately we don't have any hard dates yet, but once we do we will let you know!
Google+ has been added since the previous post on this thread. Is there a rough time estimate for Youtube & LinkedIn assuming they are planned?
Any further update on the integration of G+ and LinkedIn tracking in Moz social.
Just to add my voice to the calls for better social integration! G+, Facebook and Pinterest would be the most interesting for me. Especially if it can also be implemented in the 'Just Discovered' bit of open site explorer
We're currently slated to add Google+ by May and hope to add LinkedIn in the 2-3 months following. Sorry for the wait!
Any update on when these new integrations will be available? I would definitely like to see LinkedIn and Google+.
My vote also goes to Linkedin, G+, You Tube and Slideshare
I'd like to add my vote for the following:
Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, slideshare
Thanks, dinoro! I have a running list of social networks that customers want to see integrated; I'll add Slideshare :)
Slideshare would be also interesting for us, thanks.
In a sense, yes. At least in that Open Site Explorer includes links from public Twitter and FB pages. We are working on plans for exposing a more fresh and complete accounting of links from Twitter, but it will be a bit before this is in place.
At the moment, the social section includes interactions & interactors, visits (via GA), follower growth, and competitive views for FB and Twitter (all over time).
Looking forward to this, Adam, especially YouTube. You are already tracking links from FB and Twitter, yes?
That's great to hear Adam!
I completely agree. We are currently working on plans for better integration with G+, and ideas for at least some simple integration with most of the other social networks you mention. Look for some first steps in the coming months.
YouTube seems particularly important give that it's the #2 search engine, more important in terms of volume of searches that Yahoo and Bing. This would be HUGE!! Likewise, Tumblr, Pinterest and Instagram!!! Visual social is growing like wild fire. Just my 2 cents
