Would love to have historical tracking for the Competitive Domain Analysis part of the ProDashboard.
The purpose would be to track progress on competitive domains over time. And to see what rate they are 'growing' links, domains, c-blocks etc.
Hooray! We launched this feature last week. You can now see your link metric data over time and measure the effectiveness and success of your link building strategies. You can check out this new feature on your PRO account campaign by going to the Link Analysis section, and selecting "History" on the top left side of the page. Check out this great blog that Samantha wrote for more information.
Thank you all for the suggestions! We're looking to ship historical tracking of link metrics in campaigns within the next few weeks. This is not a full historical index, but we will track link metrics for each campaign starting when a campaign is created.
Historical data for Competitive Domain Analysis
Right now we only have a current snapshot of our domain analysis. It shows where we are against the competitors we've set-up. This only shows where we are now, and not where we were before.
It would be awesome if we could have a chart that showed the evolution of these stats in the Competitive Domain Analysis.
That would allow us to see how the link metrics have changed over time, and that will give us a better understanding of the effectiveness of our link building strategies across time.
yes as two months ago i increase my mozrank and now again i have decreased moz rank, so i cant compare what goes down or what is up. I like to have competitive domain analysis. if not week wise, we can go with linkscape update
Yes, I would love to see how my MozRank and MozTrust grows in correlation to the links I've built in a given time period, as well as seeing how my competitors are doing as well. This would allow me to see at what rate they're building links.
Thanks guys! I can't believe how much work you guys actually do. And that you ask for more is crazy, but we love you for it. :)
